The DSI Accredited Practitioner micro-credential is the individual professional designation for the people who implement SMB1001. Organizations are authorized. Practitioners are accredited. The difference is an assessment.

The Accredited Practitioner credential is its individual counterpart: proof that you, personally, have demonstrated competency in SMB1001 implementation methodology through a curriculum and assessment designed by DSI's Global Education Curriculum Committee (GECC).
Think of the relationship the way the professions do: the registered firm, and the certified practitioner within it.
It is deliberately priced under US$100, because a professional designation should be earned through capability, not afforded through budget, and this will cover our costs. Fully assessed, because a credential anyone can buy tells a client nothing.

SMB1001 framework mastery, implementation methodology, client engagement, gap analysis, and DSI systems and registrar processes, in a structured learning pathway designed and governed by the GECC.

Get your organization in place.
The credential requires your organization to hold Authorized Partner membership. If it does not yet, that is the first move, and it carries its own benefits from the day it starts: the Commercial Use Licence, the AI Support Agent from 1 September 2026, and the directory listing at platform launch.

Common questions.
Not yet. The credential is only issuable to people at active Authorized Partner organizations. If your organization should be one, point whoever decides at partners.dsi.org; the case rather makes itself.
The Champion position is open.
SMB1001 Unlocked - Free for All will carry the name of one organization: the Founding Legacy Champion that makes the standard free for the world. The position is exclusive, it is open, and it will only ever be held by one organization at a time. If yours has the scale and the conviction, the prospectus explains the rest.
